This wall platter is one from a sculptural series that I call, "Mountain Wall Platters." Mountains are gigantic sculptures made by nature that affect us powerfully. Mountains also represent ambition. The idea of reaching the summit of a mountain can motivate us to pursue and achieve great goals. I created these abstract mountain platters with those ideas in mind. They were largely inspired by my time driving in the flat plains in front of the Teton Mountains, with a gold or silver winding road piercing into the vast horizon. This platter comes ready to hang, with hanging device for drywall.
