This specific bowl has a couple places where the glaze didn't fill in on the under side of the rim's crease, this doesn't affect the function, it is a part of the process that happens occasionally.

The "Ruby Red" color was created by Joel Cherrico's custom glaze chemistry. The goal was to create a glaze that is striking and vibrant, but also rustic and earthen.
