The "Ruby Red" color was created by Joel Cherrico's custom glaze chemistry. The goal was to create a glaze that is striking and vibrant, but also rustic and earthen. Joel drew a line of copper on the ruby red which melted during the kiln firing into a lovely mixture of blue, greens, and purples.
