This mug was fired twice, first with nuka and iron, then dipped in oil spot glaze for the second firing to create this stunning layering affect of blues and browns. Comfortable additions of clay on the handle help these mugs look and feel handmade, emphasizing how they were formed with Joel Cherrico's hands. Finger marks on the bottom of each mug were left by Joel's fingers intentionally, showing how he dipped the pots in glaze.
All of our pottery is made from Stoneware clay, and is 100% food and dishwasher safe.
