If you're excited about getting a lower price on a randomly selected piece of Cherrico Pottery, handmade by Joel Cherrico, then this is for you. All of this pottery is 100% functional, non-toxic and dishwasher safe. These pots are still 100% functional and usable, but they have imperfections that warrant a discount.
Each flawed pot is marked with blue tape during our "Sanding and Inspecting" process, and set aside for our "Seconds" sale. Some were glaze tests that Joel was experimenting with. Others may have blemish or sharp spot. Most have an "S Crack" which is a small crack on the bottom, underside of the pot. Some have cracks elsewhere, from the drying or firing process. These cracks don't affect function. The pots are still 100% usable and safe. The cracks never change, they don't expand and they don't need to be filled with anything. They're simply a visual and textural flaw, which are a natural part of the pottery process, but warrant a discount.
"Grab Bag" means that your pottery needs to be chosen 100% randomly from the entire batch. I apologize that we cannot take requests for specific pottery. Your pottery must be chosen randomly in order to maintain fairness for all customers. Putting all pottery together in a "Random Grab Bag" listing is the only way we are able to offer this sale.
