This mug was dipped in Nuka glaze, oil spot, and brushed with a line of Cobalt on the rim. The kiln firing melts these glazes & materials together to create a lovely mixture of blues and metallic brown speckles where the cobalt was brushed on thickest. Comfortable additions of clay on the handle help these mugs look and feel handmade, emphasizing how they were formed with Joel Cherrico's hands. Finger marks on the bottom of each mug were left by Joel's fingers intentionally, showing how he dipped the pots in glaze.
All of our pottery is made from Stoneware clay, and is 100% food and dishwasher safe.
