Joel's Lunar pieces are inspired by lunar and planetary surfaces and shapes. The stain contrasts the circular, carved textures meant to represent how these surfaces feel when they are translated into clay in the form of a handcrafted, piece of pottery.
This new functional design is similar to a moon mug design but has a hole drilled in the bottom meant for drainage and no handle. A matching tray is included intended to protect the surface that this planter sits on.
