'Imperfect/Flawed' means that there is a visual element to the piece of pottery that is distracting, warranting a discount. These flaws happened during the firing, they are still 100% functional and safe for food/drink. We have included a photo of the flaw for each discounted piece.
This cup was fired twice, in an experimental combination of dips of glazes mixed in studio by Joel, to create this stunning sparkling affect of blues. Finger marks on the bottom of each mug were left by Joel's fingers intentionally, showing how he dipped the pots in glaze.
All of our pottery is made from Stoneware clay, and is 100% food and dishwasher safe.
