This pie plate has been painted with glazes, nuka & iron, by Sienna Cherrico. Our collaborative styles are thrown by Joel and then glazed by Sienna. Her compositions are inspired by the general idea of plants, prairie grasses & life. This piece is perfectly sized for baking, or for using as a centerpiece or fruit bowl.
All of our pottery is made from Stoneware clay, and is 100% food and dishwasher safe. This particular stoneware pottery has “crazing” which is a natural crackle in the glaze finish. This is normal and natural in this style of pottery. With regular use, our crazed pottery is 100% non-toxic, food safe, dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. Crazing does not hurt the function.
